Give your fire pit some major wow-factor with Kinger Home’s Azurite Blue Crushed Tempered Reflective Fire Glass. Cover the burner and create a beautiful centerpiece without compromising functionality! Crafted from recycled post-consumer glass, these fire rocks offer maximum visual impact while improving air circulation and flame size. The colored fire glass ranges from ½” to 1” in size and is treated to tolerate extreme temperatures up to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit without melting or burning; compatible with both natural gas and propane fire pits. Your guests are sure to be impressed by the colorful lightshow as the fire dances in the reflective glass! Not only does the glass look beautiful in your fire pit, but it can also be used for vase fillers, arts and crafts, and even planter beds. The reusable plastic jar makes it easy to store when not in use, too. Kinger Home’s Crushed Fire Glass is sold in 10 LB jars, which is enough glass to cover the base of the fire bowl. To cover the burner completely, we recommend buying two 10 LB jars.

    Perfect fireglass

I researched a lot of fire glass before purchasing. I actually had to order glass from 4 different vendors before I found this perfect blue color. I have a dark blue glass tile for my waterline and negative edge spa and I wanted a similar color for the fire glass. The cobalt blue color offered by most companies had too much purple in it. I’ve also read that one of the biggest complaints from other companies was the inconsistent size of the glass with a lot of broken smaller pieces that could not be used. I did not want to have a lot of little small pieces especially since it was placed in a firebowl. I will say that All of the glass pieces are very consistent in size and all pieces could be used. I did rinse off the glass before placing in the firebowl, which really brought out the beautiful shine. I placed lava rock in the fire bowl then a layer of the fireglass on top. I have 24 in square fire bowls and 2 jars was just the right amount for each bowl. I could not be more pleased with this choice. It is Definitely worth the small additional cost.
